Hygiene Kits for Alternative Learning Centres

Collaborated with IOM and Our Journey to supply hygiene kits for Alternative Learning Centres (schools for undocumented children) in Kota Kinabalu and Keningau.

Food Aid Programme

Collaborated with the HD, IOM and other NGOs including Our Journey and Global Shepherds to raise funds and give food aid to families in need around Sabah, Malaysia

Full-time Operation

  • Grant from Porticus has allowed ANAK to set up office with staffs.

Safeguarding Policy

  • The grant also enables ANAK to build organizational policy to safeguard children that they engage with and it will be share among their networks.

Community Engagement

  • The team continues to interact with various migrants, stateless and undocumented communities around Sabah which are in Kota Kinabalu, Keningau and Tawau.

CSO Coordination

  • ANAK is currently coordinating a network of Sabah organizations that work on migrants, stateless and undocumented issues. The network consisting of Global Shepherds, Borneo Komrad, Cahaya Society and Koalisi Buruh Migran Berdaulat.

National Round Table Discussion on Federal Constitution Amendment on Malaysian Citizenship

  • ANAK is the Sabah representative to advocate for progressive amendment and object regressive proposals.
